The three best flexplates with starter rings are DMPE, Mezeire and CSR. The 24volt MSD and CSR starters work really well.

While you have it apart check the sprays. You probably know but make sure the sprags all go back together and back in the same way you took them out. Check the outside of the inner race for wear and check the inside of the outer race for wear. Normally the inner race takes the abuse
